SHOWERS

The clouds darken in the sky
The sun becomes a little too shy.
The songs of birds lingering in the air
As they fly back to their nests with care.
The trees swaying in the breeze
As though they were shivering with freeze.
The darkness that spreads all over
As the sun shies away and the clouds take-over.
The clouds take pictures of the world below
As they meet with laughter and thunder so roar.
As they fall into the earth as tiny droplets
Filling the air with soothing smells.
The trees and plants dance in fun
As they say goodbye to the sun.
The clouds have shed tears of their joy
And its time for them to say goodbye.
As they move away and go on a stride
The sun shines again with all its pride.
And so we learn the way if life
After darkness, there is always a sunshine.
